Aldo

We keep petting Aldo, kissing him and telling him he is very much loved and safe. He rubs his face on our faces and purrs a lot. Melissa

Sammi

Here is “Miss Kitty” who we have renamed “Sammi”. We have (2) other cats: one five yrs old and one 4 … and a hamster. Sammi liked checking out the hamster (Muffin) in her cage and is exploring and getting adjusted to her new “mamas” and her new environment. We LOVE cats and are happy to add “Sammi” to the family…

Larry

Well, this is the story of Larry the rescued cat! There was a crazy lady who felt bad, She would look at him and he was sad, So one day she called Kitty Connection to see if they could find him a home. She was afraid if she didn’t he would roam. So to the vet he went! And then to the shelter. The lady felt bad that she took

Ally & Bea

Greetings from our new forever home! We love it here! We snuggle our new mom and dad all the time. There is a really long hallway at our new house and we chase each other up and down until we are exhausted. Mom makes sure we get our vitamins and antibiotics and even set up a doctors appointment for us this coming Tuesday. We just want to thank you for

Mazie

I adopted Emergee in October. I chose to re-name her Mazie. Since moving into my home, she has become an integral part of our family. She has bonded well with one of my cats and the other one, well they live in harmony. Jasper, the one she has bonded with, they are thick as thieves and love to chase each other from room to room in the house… She has

Joselyn

I guess they are getting along fine :). Taken in my basement a couple of days ago. They like the warmth so I put a sweater down on the box they selected.

Minnie

Hello, I just wanted to update you on Valkyrie (Minnie). She is doing great, she has a new dog friend and a new little kitten friend. She is such an amazing dog. I cannot thank you enough for her.

Abby

Abby continues to do very well and now has the run of the house. She is fitting in well and all of my other animals have accepted her into the pack. Here are few pictures I hope you like. There are a couple of her climbing up on the exposed beams we have in the back room – a particular favorite of my cats:-) In one of the others, I

Peanut

She adjusted to the new place instantaneously, and all is well. She’s healthy and happy, and we are bonding more and more every day… In addition to sit and paw, she now knows lie down, roll over, come here (were practicing with a long leash), and we’re working on socialization too. Martin

Willow

I gave Nantucket a pretty new name – Willow! Two months later the two kitties are now friends. Evita is the white kitty (my 8-yr old) and Willow is the black kitty (formerly known as Nantucket). Willow was the perfect kitty to add to our family and we are all very happy together. Thanks again, Linda

Oswyn

I just wanted to drop a quick line to let you know how well our new kitty is doing. We got him on 9/22/12 from the adoption open house, and he’s been terrific! His name was Jasper (1 yr old) when we got him, but we started calling him Oswyn. His favorite thing to do is to sit at the dinner table (he gets his own chair!) and watch us

Frank

Hi I just wanted to check in and tell you Frank is doing great. We are gaining a lot on his training and he has really been loving the walks in the woods. He’s now doing 2 miles and more without any problems. He has really turned into an active dog. His allergies are still flaring up from time to time and my vet is working on figuring out what

Caroline

Here is a picture of Caroline (far left) formerly known as Superwoman that I adopted from KC over a year ago. She is with her big sister Daphne! Caroline is a sweetheart and was known as a hard to adopt cat. Everyone needs to give these cats a chance! We love her 🙂 Deb

Minnie

We’re the folks who adopted Mins a little over two weeks ago. We’ve renamed her Minnie in the meantime because it goes along with our other cat’s name (Missy!). She’s adapted very well to her new home, and was exploring and rubbing up against every inch of her new room within minutes. Just last week, we finally let our cats officially meet and they’ve been playing together, window watching together,

Crookshanks

Well, what can we say? He’s a lover and a fighter. Crookshanks (Roy) has been settling into our home and staking his claim as the boss that he is. He is still a bit concerned about our motives but is loving and playful, and has fast become best buddies with our 7 year old daughter. Despite being FIV positive he is otherwise healthy, for which we are very grateful. Jess

Finn

I got Sony(black and white cat) last July. I wasn’t sure how it would go as I had another cat. I wanted him as a companion to her. It was rough at first. Molly took a while to get used to him but it was not nearly as bad as I thought it would be. She tolerates him now and maybe likes him sometimes. They chase each other and cat

Lil’ Beara

Last week we recently adopted Lil’ Beara into our family and she is just a love and a half! She adjusted so easily into our home, coming from a great foster home first of course through kitty connection (thanks Rita) and is a big ball of cheer into our daily lives. Lil’ Beara has lots of fun energy, is very playful and also gets plenty of sunbathing in our windowsills.

Jubilee

I thought I would send an update on our little Jubilee, who is just mischief with a big M. She is so funny and so sweet and so settled into the Johnston family. She has a friend, Weeties, and they take naps together, everyday, promptly at 10am 🙂

Hoover

Hoover came to us as a matted, shy, grumpy foster cat. Once he realized there were no other cats around in our house, he started to settle in, but nobody was interested in adopting him. With every passing month, he grew more playful and loving with us, yet still was getting passed over by potential adopters. Eventually we realized we wanted this silly fluffy thing around permanently. His mats have

They are 8 months old and the 3 of them play constantly. We added onto our cat condo, and the 3 of them are always playing on it. “Bounce” is our little angel and we are all so happy. He

Miklo

I want to send you an update on “Honey Boo” who is now named Michael Angelo, Miklo for short. We fostered to adopt Miklo to ensure that he would be happy in our home, since he was so timid. It has definitely been a slow process for him to trust us, and realize that we just want to love him. I am very happy to say that every week he

Benji

Hi Marie – Hope you and all the ‘Kitty Connection’ gang are doing well?! Benjie and I just hit the 1 month mark and I thought I’d give you an update. His favorite spot is still inbetween the couch/wall…but he usually ventures out during the evening hours. He’s comfortable enough to sit under the cocktail table, the living room floor, or the kitchen table. He sleeps there too now. I

Waddles, now Miles

Miles

Hello Kitty Connection! We wanted to say thanks for taking “Waddles” in so we could adopt him on 11/22/11. We renamed him Miles after getting to know him, and he’s doing great! If you recall, he was missing lots of fur, was severely malnourished, and had many sores from the flea infestation he had had when you found him. Now, he is steadily gaining weight, he has all of his

Macaw (Now Loki)

So I know you either plan to call or perhaps have called already, but I thought you might enjoy a detailed email instead. So here’s an update on Macaw! It took us a little while to come up with a new name, but we finally picked Loki, the newest of the Murphy Collective. My husband has used the moniker for about a decade now online, and it was the name

Charlie

Good Morning, I was hoping you’d be able to add my success story to your web page, or would at least like to hear about and see how happy one of your kittens is in his new home. I adopted ‘Neroli’ (who I renamed Charlie) a couple of years ago from Kitty Connection to be a companion to my 5 year old (also orange) male cat named Petey. Charlie’s litter

Bubbles

I just wanted to say thank you so much for letting us adopt Bubbles. I have never really liked cats, but I need companionship from a pet and we can’t have a dog. What a pleasant surprise it was to meet Bubbles yesterday and fall in love. He reminded me more of a dog than a cat and it was a great first day together today. I took him home
