Ruby

Ruby came to Kitty Connection fall of 2021. Prior to coming to Kitty Connection she was fending for herself on the streets. She was a very shy girl who needed some TLC to come out of her shell and help her learn to trust humans again. Then a wonderful adopter named Ken came around! He had previously rescued a cat named Mini who started out just like Ruby had. Ken was

[ADOPTED] Success story: Lizzy

Lizzy

Even in times of social distancing and virtual adoptions, we have great success stories! Meet Lizzy, a two-year-old polydactyl calico cat who came to Kitty Connection during the chaos of the coronavirus. She felt anxious and scared to leave her previous home. A family reached out looking for a feline friend to add to their family, and when they were “virtually” introduced to Lizzy they fell in love. Within a

Brady now Ali

Ali is doing great! He’s getting more well-behaved everyday — we’re taking him to a trainer once a week. He’s also doing a lot better with our cats! 🙂 We just took him for a walk around Haggett’s Pond. I’ve attached a picture.

Samson

Samson and our older boy Scraggs have become great companions, whether it’s naps or treats or a shared dislike for the vacuum.  Samson has been doing great the past few weeks as an outgoing and loving addition to our family. Thanks Kitty Connection

Archie

Hi everyone! Just wanted to send a quick update because one year ago today I got my little man, Archie, from you! He’s doing amazing – and even has a brother now (Charlie!). I couldn’t imagine not having him and I thank you all again so much for bringing him into my life!

Sila and Jaden Say Hi

Happy 4th of July all our animal rescue friends!!! It’s been TEN YEARS as of July 1 that Sila and Jaden found their forever home. Sometime in 2012 we adopted our 4th cat from Kitty Connection, Smokey Joe. Now there are six kitty cats and me. When the bus would arrive at 11 at night or midnight Sila and Irish Paddy would run to the door and wait for Jeff. Sometimes I say

Donovan (formerly Hilton)

A little adopted update on Donovan (formerly Hilton), he and my son are still as inseparable as ever. (My son seems to always wear the same jammies because these photos were all taken at different times lol) Donovan likes to watch tv, he enjoyed watching the Nat Geo channel this morning (top right photo) and sneaking in a sniff of Kyle’s face, he escaped into the back yard (again) and

Monkey-Pooh & Minnie-Pooh

Mia (left, formerly Monkey-pooh) & Zoe (formerly Minnie-pooh) adjusting well. It’s been almost 2 months, and both have put on weight, furs growing back, no fleas, clean bill of health from Vet. My husband and I can’t thank you enough for these little bundles of joy will continue to update on our babies.

Diesel

Diesel is doing very well and has made a best friend with my daughter’s crazy kitten. Lol. He helps me out in the yard and doesn’t need a leash, he stays right with me…he only made a run for it once for about 5 seconds when he saw a squirrel, he now realizes he cannot catch them. Haha. He’s very spoiled and has taken over my bed at night, I

Harley

Hello! This is my yearly update on Harley… he was renamed when I adopted him 2 yrs ago February. Harley is great, healthy, happy, very content. He and.Charlie are the best buddies. Charlie was 10 months when Harley came home with me. They love each other & are always together. The best thing is how well Harley is doing after Angel Memorial removed his teeth. He has no trouble eating

Squeegie (formerly Toby)

Just wanted to share a great shot I got of Toby! I always called him Squeegie, and he has always responded to it way more than the name Toby…so it stuck. I love this pic because he’s snuggling in the dog’s bed again. It’s his favorite sleeping spot, and he just doesn’t care that the dog lies on the floor.. My big, scary-looking Husky knows her role in our “pride”,

Layla

Just wanted to give you guys an update that Layla is already acclimated to the house and is very playful and energetic. We’re very excited to give her a loving home, thank you again!

George (formerly Riley)

Hello, This is George’s mom, it’s been about 4 years since we adopted blind and deaf George (Riley). George is an AMAZING dog. One thing we never did was pity him or treat him differently than we treat our other dogs. He does everything they do. He loves hiking, swimming, and going to the doggy daycare I now own. He’s had his challenges, one month after he turned two he

Bella

Bella settles in extremely well. She is quite attached to G., loves to sleep next to her. She quickly learned how to use the training pads – we do not want her to have to go out in this frigid weather, and there is nowhere to go anyway- snow, snow everywhere. The few days it was possible we did go for walks, she enjoyed it a lot. She is quite

Vinnie (formerly Charkoal)

Vinnie (formerly Charkoal) has really started to settle in at his new home. He’s affectionate, gentle and playful; a really sweet soul. He and his adopted little brother Valentino are taking it slowly but making progress every day. Thank you Kitty Connection for all you do!

Smokey

She had the name “Smokey” which we didn’t think fit her. So, the wife and I agreed that we liked “Cassandra”. Deb thought maybe Abigail for the Beatles “Abby Road” so I cleverly decided she’d be “Cassandra Abigail Tiernan” which makes her initials “C.A.T.” We constantly tell her how lucky she is to be an indoor kitty. She still likes to look out the door and remind herself the truth of

Chi Chi

This is Chipotle or “Chi Chi.” I adopted her about a year ago and since then she’s traveled to Virginia and Florida! Aside from napping, she enjoys to chase your feet in bed under the covers and then will come lay on your chest with you!

Tahiti

We decided to rename Tahiti. His new name is Mocha (or Mochaccino or Mocha Bear or just Bear). We love him so much. He seems to have adjusted very well to his new home. He loves cuddling with my partner and me and is pretty talkative, which is very cute. He is also very friendly with all of our friends who have come over to meet him. He is wonderful. We

Coco (formerly Wizzle)

Just wanted to thank you for rescuing and saving Coco (formerly Wizzle). She is a HUGE love. Although she has taken time to be ok with my little one, slowly but surely she is coming around for her (for me – biggest love bug ever)!!! She has been such a wonderful addition to our family. Thank you for all the work that you do for these amazing animals. Deeply appreciative.

Jazzy

This is Jazzy. I got her from the Kitty Connection in 2009. She is a wonderful dog. She is still the crazy pup I fell in love with the day I met her. In 2012 we welcome our 1st daughter Eva into the world. Jazzy has been incredible. Honestly you couldn’t ask for a better situation. Her patience with my daughter has been incredible and it’s a testament to the

Kuma, formerly known as Julius

Kuma has been well while he has been with us. He and our other cat THOR often play together, but sometimes have domination struggles. They often like hanging out in the same room, especially when something interesting is happening. Kuma really likes hanging out with people and will often sleep on top of us. He’s a big guy and knows it, so he’ll never move out of the way even

I adopted Honey the sweet sleek Russian Blue Kitty! She now goes by the name of Indigo and is as happy as can be! Playing all day and sleeping on my bed at night, she and my other cat have become quite close. She’s a VERY vocal little girl and is also super sweet. She loves laps and ear scratching. I’m so glad I found you fine people and adopted my new fuzzy

Owen - Danny

Owen (Danny)

We received a fantastic update on one of our great success stories. Danny, now called Owen, came to us when a Kitty Connection volunteer literally picked him up off the street. We unfortunately had to remove his eyes which were non-functioning at that point, but Sara took Danny in and adopted him!   Owen is doing great. He’s the most wonderful little guy – not sure what I’d do without him.

Monster (Bugsy)

From Monster’s parents, Aga and Shaul: Maybe Monster is small but he has a huge heart. Things come to him slowly (it took a year to get him house trained), he is rambunctious (try getting him to come during a walk). Monster is stubborn, even the trainer at the 101 class could not get him to act properly. He is wimpy, trash barrels and flying plastic bags scare him. He

Crookshanks(Roy) - DSH - Success Story - 3-16-14

Crookshanks (AKA Roy)

It’s been a year since we lost our 23 year old kitty, and almost a year since we rescued Crookshanks (Roy). Beautiful, strong orange tabby. Broken toothed, pieces of ear missing, battle scars everywhere, FIV+, terrible digestive issues, wounds on his neck from nervous scratching, living for the first three months wearing the “Cone of Shame”. He’s still not 100% certain we will keep his food dish full or that we will open the door

Zoe

Zoe’s mom was found abandoned outside and you all at Kitty Connection found her a foster home where she gave birth to Zoe (formerly Meeko). The first time I met her she climbed up my jean pant leg, hopped off to run around with her siblings then came back over to me and fall asleep in my lap. We’ve been best friends ever since the day I brought her home.

He is eating, drinking and sleeping well (he loves napping my daughter’s sock drawer). He has been a superstar about using his litter box. He is the perfect kitty – thank you! See attached pictures of him lounging on

Lola

My name is Amanda and almost 1 year ago I adopted an adorable little pitbull/boston terrier mix named Lola from your organization. Adopting her was the best thing I ever did! She is so sweet and lovable, gets along great with other dogs and people, and makes me laugh everyday with her personality. Just wanted to let you know how well she is doing and that she is getting plenty
