Happy 4th of July all our animal rescue friends!!!
It’s been TEN YEARS as of July 1 that Sila and Jaden found their forever home. Sometime in 2012 we adopted our 4th cat from Kitty Connection, Smokey Joe.
Now there are six kitty cats and me. When the bus would arrive at 11 at night or midnight Sila and Irish Paddy would run to the door and wait for Jeff.
Sometimes I say “Jeffrey’s home.” Their ears used to perk up, but after seventeen months and 3 weeks (it will be exactly 18 months next Friday – January 10 2014 – July 10, 2015) they know Jeff won’t be coming through the door.
Thank you Gary and Linda and Terry and Amy and everyone who helped bring Sila and Jaden up from Atlanta to the Boston area.
They are loved, cherished and well taken care of.
