Hi there, my name is Michelle and 2 weeks ago my husband and I adopted Lucky from Kitty Connection.
We just wanted to send some photos to pass on to her foster mom and you folks on how well she is doing. She is settling very nicely with our other dog Wesley and is picking up our household routines. She LOVES playing with her toys, going for long walks in the neighborhood, and meeting the other neighborhood dogs.
We are working on her potty training and she is doing really good this week – she is starting to go to the door and bark when she needs to go out. She does love to bark…we need to work on that, I call her Little Miss Mouthy cause she likes to give protest barks when she isn’t getting her way. She also likes to nibble at your hands when you are petting her. That is another habit we are trying to break but all and all she is doing very well. She is great at her basic commands and has been sleeping well in her crate at night and does awesome in her larger pen when we are at work during the day.
She was also at the vets last week and he said she was a good put together little dog and she did just fine having her exam.
I will keep you posted and send some more pictures in the future.
