💕 Meet Grace — There’s a Brave Little Cat Hiding in There

Grace has already been through so much.

When she was rescued, she had a scar on her face — a painful reminder that life hadn’t always been kind to her. Today, that scar has healed, she’s physically healthy, and she’s ready for the next chapter of her life.

But Grace is still learning that she’s safe. ❤️

She’s approximately 1–2 years old, and she is a very shy girl during the day. If she sees you walk into a room, she’ll quickly run and hide. She loves sitting by the windows and watching the world go by — but if she notices someone watching her, she’ll disappear again.

And yet…

🌙 When no one is looking, Grace comes alive.

She’s playful at night, exploring and enjoying herself when she thinks the humans aren’t watching. There’s a curious, playful little cat in there — she’s just not quite ready to share that side of herself with us yet.

Grace was recently adopted, but sadly, her mom discovered that she is allergic to her. Since coming home, Grace has spent much of her time hiding under the couch.

And honestly? We understand.

Imagine everything this little girl has been through. She’s been rescued, found a home, and then found herself needing another one. She doesn’t know yet that the next person who comes along might be her person forever.

Grace doesn’t need someone who expects her to be instantly affectionate.

She needs someone who will sit near the couch and wait.

Someone who won’t chase her when she runs.

Someone who will let her watch from the window, play at midnight, and slowly — very slowly — decide that humans aren’t so scary after all.

Someone who will recognize that hiding isn’t all she is.

Because somewhere underneath that fear is a young, playful, curious cat who deserves the chance to come out of her shell.

🐾 Grace needs a patient adopter who understands shy cats and is willing to let her set the pace.

Her transformation may not happen overnight. But imagine the feeling when, one day, Grace doesn’t run when you enter the room.

When she stays by the window.

When she comes out to play while you’re awake.

When she finally chooses to sit beside you.

Those little moments will be everything. 💗

Grace has already healed physically. Now she needs someone who will help her learn that she is safe, loved, and finally home.

Could you be the person who gives Grace the time and patience she needs?

Unless otherwise noted in the above description, Kitty Connection cats have been:

– spayed or neutered
– vaccinated against rabies and distemper
– tested negative for FIV and FeLV
– examined by a vet

Adopters will receive their medical records.
