Meet Indigo & Loki
Hi, we’re Indigo and Loki, and we’re looking for a new beginning.
Until recently, we were beloved family pets living happily in the only home we’d ever known. Then our family was given just 30 days to move after their landlord decided to sell the house. Faced with an incredibly difficult housing situation, they had to make the heartbreaking decision to surrender us.
Please know this: we were, and still are, very loved. Our family didn’t give us up because they wanted to. Sometimes life changes in ways no one expects, and the animals people love get caught in the middle.
I’m Indigo, a beautiful gray lady estimated to be around 12-13 years old, and my best friend Loki is a handsome white-and-orange boy who’s 9 years old. We’ve always been indoor cats, and our family says we’re happy, healthy, and wonderful companions.
Since arriving in foster care, we’ve shown everyone just how sweet and affectionate we are. We love curling up on laps, sleeping near our people at night, and getting plenty of pets and attention. We even try to share the same lap sometimes, although one of us usually decides it’s gotten a little too crowded!
I (Indigo) especially love to cuddle. If you sit down, don’t be surprised if I climb onto your chest so I can be as close to your face as possible while I purr. My foster mom says I make her laugh because I sometimes tiptoe around the house like the Pink Panther, carefully checking corners to see if Loki is hiding nearby.

Like many cats, we can be a little cautious at first in a new place. Losing our home has been a big change. But once we feel safe, we happily seek out affection, treats, and companionship. Our foster mom says we’ve settled in beautifully and that our loving personalities shine through more every day.
We’ve spent our lives as cherished family cats, and now our world has changed very suddenly. What we hope to find next is simple: a safe home, a cozy place to curl up, and a family who will remind us that we’re still loved.
