I’ve been meaning to write you all for a while now to thank you so much for introducing Gizmo into my life! This older fella hadn’t been cared for very well by his previous family and then spent a year in a R.I. shelter looking for the right home. He had an angel there (Michelle) who looked out for him but his time had run out. The angels at Kitty Connection swooped in to save him. When I saw his face and heard his story I knew he deserved a new chance at life that I hoped I could offer him. When I first brought him home he growled a bit, hid a lot, and wanted to be left alone. With a bit of patience (and a lot of cookies) he has become a confident and happy little fella in just a few short months! Gizmo LOVES sticking his nose out the window of the car and going for walks is his absolute favorite thing to do. He’s a great guard dog and takes his role seriously by chasing away any birds or squirrels who dare enter the yard. I am so proud of him for giving us humans a second chance, and so grateful to all of the angels who looked out for him and led him to me.
