I just thought I’d give you an update on my adoption of the tortie cat with FIV named Lucy. When I first brought her home she was shy and withdrawn and hid in the bathroom for about a week. I considered this normal, knowing how cats can be about change, and she did seem a tad depressed, certainly because of her situation. I went away for a small vacation for two days and when I returned she was running around the house, playful and happy as if she’s always lived here. She showered me with love and attention and enjoyed playing with her new sisters. She’s a constant source of joy, certainly one of the most sweetest-tempered cats I have ever known. She fits in here perfectly and has the energy of a kitten. I am so happy I could give her the home and love she most certainly deserves. Thank you so much for saving her and bringing her into my life. Thank you for all you do for cats.
