Dexter (formally known as Dancer) is the sweetest little boy ever. He has brought so much joy to my life and to my 1-year-old tortie River’s life. Before Dexter joined our family, River was filled with excess energy and was a bit high strung. There was a bit of hissing from River for the first 24 hours of Dexter being with us, and then she fell as much in love with him as I did. The two of them are always playing, wrestling, chasing, jumping, exploring, and sleeping together. They are the best of buds, and River has mellowed out into such a gentle, caring kitty. River holds Dexter down and gives him baths regularly, which is so charming to watch. They are both so engaging, with each other and with me. They also have these little chirping conversations with each other that are simply the cutest thing ever. The two of them have brightened and enhanced my life greatly, in too many ways to count.
