My sweet Caroline came to me as Superwoman from Kitty Connection. She always looked sweet but was very scared. She immediately took to her new brothers and sister (Gizmo, Cloey and Daphne) and they accepted her right away! But as far as she was concerned she didn’t want to be touched or held by us humans! Each day I would just sit and talk to her and try to pet her. She would actually sit and listen 🙂 Now as time has passed she loves to be petted and still enjoys being talked to but is not a lap kitty. I am sure with more time and love she eventually will enjoy being held! She brings me much joy just watching her interact with the other cats, whether it’s playing or just sleeping with them. I wish more people would give shyer cats a chance as they just need to be loved and reassured! I love Caroline and she is a big part of our kitty family and she has her forever home that she truly deserved!
