I’m a beautiful 16-year-old orange gentleman with the softest fur, the most soulful eyes, and an incredibly sweet heart. My name means “bright raven,” which feels fitting for a special boy who has held on to his light through some very dark days.

My owner passed away, and somehow I ended up living outside on the streets for the past year. It was scary and lonely, but this week, everything changed: I was finally trapped and brought somewhere warm and safe.

I’ve already visited the vet, and we’re waiting for the results of my blood work. In the meantime, I’m doing wonderfully in my foster home. After everything I’ve been through, I’m still a little nervous and sometimes prefer the comfort of my safe hiding spot. But when my foster mom gently scratches my chin and ears, I start purring—even while I’m hiding. And when she finds just the right spot, I give her kisses to let her know how much I appreciate her.

I have a healthy appetite, use my litter box like a perfect gentleman, and become a little braver every day. What I need now is a patient, loving person who will give me the time and reassurance I need to feel safe again.

I’ve spent a year surviving outside. Now I’m ready for soft blankets, gentle hands running through my velvety fur, delicious meals, and a peaceful home where I will be treasured. I may be 16, but I still have so much love to give. Could you be the person who gives me the happy ending I deserve?
