My name is Elvie and I’m a sweet tuxedo girl with a thin “got milk” mustache and beautiful golden eyes. I’m only about eight months old, so I’m still very much a kitten. I lost my home when my human family ran into some hard times. On top of that, there was another cat in the home who used to pick on me. Once I became the only cat in my foster home, I became much more relaxed and friendly. I’m still a bit shy at first, but my human fosters say that I’m a talkative little sweetheart. I love to play and I love to be pet. Because of my history of being intimidated by other cats, I would probably do best as the only cat in my adoptive home. I would do best in an interactive home where I’ll get lots of playtime and attention. I would not do well left unaccompanied for long hours. I would be perfectly fine adopted by a first-time adopter sufficiently patient to allow me enough time to figure things out. I’m very cute and you would have to be out of your mind not to want to adopt me.
