Hi, I’m Zeus.
When the rescue found me, I was living outside on my own, and both of my front paws were badly hurt. They got me the surgery I needed, and then I came to my foster home to heal.
At first, I was scared and didn’t know if people could be trusted. But with a little time and gentle reassurance I learned that pets are one of my favorite things. I love being brushed by my human, and if you give belly rubs, I’ll happily accept those too!
I’ve been through a lot; one of my back legs was broken at some point while on the streets. It healed a little crooked and makes my walk a little unique, but it doesn’t stop me from enjoying my favorite things and being the most gentle sweet soul.
These days, you’ll usually find me lounging on my window perch, watching birds, taking naps in the sunshine, or quietly hanging out near my favorite human. I get along well with other cats, and my foster mom says I don’t have even a hint of aggression in me.
I’m still learning that the world is a safe place. I’ll need a family who will help me continue to build confidence with gentle love, patience, and reassurance. Every day I become a little braver, and every day I discover another reason to trust and love.
All I need is a safe place to call home, a little perch by the window, and a family to love. If you think we could help each other, I’d love to meet you.
Love, Zeus
