Hi, I’m Goldie and I’m hoping to bring a little sunshine into your quiet home!
Hello! I’m Goldie, a 2½‑year‑old orange tabby with snowy white patches. I’ve had a tough start in life, so I take a little Prozac to help my me feel steady and secure. Don’t worry — I’m very good about taking it when you mix it into my wet food. I eat every bite.
But between you and me? Dry food is the true love of my life.
My Foster Parents Say:
I’ve made amazing progress. I’m proud of myself, too!
I have excellent litter‑box manners. I like routine, calm spaces, and humans who understand that sometimes a girl needs a little room to settle in.
My Favorite Hobbies:
- Bird‑watching and “hunting” from my window throne
- Doing short bursts of playtime (I’m an Olympic sprinter, not a marathoner)
- Rolling onto my back and showing off my fuzzy belly
- Sometimes you can rub it
- Sometimes you cannot
- I will not be providing a schedule
- Sitting in the same room as you because I like your company
- Coming when you call me and inspecting everything you’re doing (yes, I’m that kind of cat and I need to be in the know!)
- Curling up on the couch near you… or in your bed… or in any cardboard box you leave lying around
My Dream Home:
I would thrive in a quiet, peaceful home with no other pets. I’m a sensitive girl, and I need a patient, experienced cat person who understands that while I am VERY cute and make adorable little meows…
…I also need space and time to feel safe.
Once I trust you, I’ll follow you around, hang out near you, and maybe even present my extremely precious belly for admiration.
So… Want to Love a Cat Who’s Soft, Silly, Sweet, and a Little Bit Special?
If you’re looking for a companion who will adore being near you, come when called, nap in boxes, watch the world with curiosity, and bloom beautifully with patience and kindness…
I think that companion might be me.
Love,
Goldie
