Hi, I’m Splinter and I am a 3 y/o spayed female & I’m looking for my forever family 
I am so happy to be in my safe & warm foster home because I did not have the most loving environment during my early years. Sadly, I went through a lot as a kitten, which makes me even more grateful for my foster home & so excited for a new forever home. I enjoy being around my foster mom & dad. I am a social girl, so my favorite thing is being with them while they’re cooking meals, folding laundry, eating dinner, you name it! I am there. I love to sleep with them every night. My favorite thing? Play time! I am such a playful girl. I really enjoy strings of all kinds! When I want attention, my foster mom knows because I roll over in front of her and meow! She says I am really cute when I do this. When it comes to pets & cuddles – it is important my forever family understands that because of my unstable/unsafe start to life, I am not always in the mood for pets. I do enjoy affection, but it might take you some time to learn my cues. If I am not in the mood for pets, I will let you know, and vise versa! While I adjust to my new home, it may be hard to know what mood I am in at first, but with patience and time, you will get to know me & I will show you how loving I can be! Because of my tough upbringing, I would do best in a home with a patient adopter who has experience with cats & is willing to put in the work to get to know me, knowing it will 100% be worth it once I feel safe. I need:
– A patient, loving adopter who understands it may take me a few months to settle in.
– Someone who understands that my love is truly worth the wait! Because once I feel safe, I am truly the best companion.
– Someone willing & wanting to play. I love strings and toys & absolutely adore when my humans play with me!
– Someone who likes to give me pets when I want them, but also understands when I am not in the mood.
– A home without small children, dogs or other cats.
– A larger home like a house or townhouse condo. I am curious & need space to explore as well as space to get away if I need to feel safe!
– All of the churus! They are my favorite.
I am:
– Okay with some alone time! I may be a good fit for someone who has to be out of the house for work. While I do enjoy your company, I also don’t mind being on my own during the day.
– Up to date on all vaccines, negative for FIV/FELV & have no current health issues.
– Litter box trained
– A good eater. I enjoy both dry & wet food
– Really cute!

– spayed or neutered
– vaccinated against rabies and distemper
