Dorothy

Hi, I’m Dorothy! I’m an 11-year-old front declawed Domestic longhair. I was shy in my new foster home at first, but I am very sweet and affectionate, and am both vocal and physically upfront about getting pets. I love to be brushed and I tolerated a bath without too much of a fuss. I prefer to be near my foster mom and I sleep at the end of her bed. If I lose track of her, I will meow in every room of the house until I find her. I don’t like being picked up, but I’m happy to come to you and nestle on your chest. I just LOVE massages and will contort my body and flop over to get tummy rubs. My foster mom says I’m one of the most satisfying kitties she has ever pet because I just love it so much. I get along well with the 7yo and baby who live here, even rubbing up against them at times for some affection, but sudden loud noises or movements make make me nervous. I sometimes hide out when the baby is awake and around. I would prefer a house with older kids and adults, or if there’s a young child, I would take extra time to warm up.
