My name is Sylvester and I’m a 2-year old male tuxedo. I’m a friendly guy who loves to play, lounge in windows, and have your attention. My favorite things are treats, rubbing on human legs, being petted, mouse toys, string toys, and the laser pointer. When I’m done playing I’ll nap for hours hugging a chair or spread out with my white belly showing. I enjoy being petted and don’t mind being held. I’ll give you biscuits and purrs in return. Sometimes I’ll even let you rub my belly—and I’ll be sure to tell you when I’ve had enough with a little bite or a swipe. Most of the time I am a gentle guy who loves humans, playtime, naps, and making biscuits—and I don’t mind having my nails trimmed!
I am very territorial, so I’m probably best as an only cat. I’d probably be OK with kids that know how to handle cats. If I needed a kitty friend, it would probably be best to introduce me to a young female. If I’m introduced properly, it would probably work out OK. Whoever adopts me needs to be open that I might need another kitty friend once I get settled into my forever home if you don’t have enough time to play with me.
