Boris

EXPERIENCED ADOPTERS ONLY.

MUST HAVE ANOTHER CAT FRIEND IN THE HOME

Hi, my name is Boris! I’m a small brown tabby and I’ll be three years old in April. Sadly, I lost my home and this was very hard for me. My foster mom says that I’m a spirit cat because I’m very shy, particularly around new people, but I’m very comfortable around other cats. When I meet new humans, my default is to put up my shy cat defenses, and I sometimes even hiss or growl if I’m not able to find a safe place to hide. However, if you give me some time to get over my initial fears, I’ll reward you with lots of love. Once I trust you, I love to be petted, and I’ll even roll over and let you pet my tummy. My foster mom says that she thinks I’m on my way to turning into a cuddly lap cat with people I trust.

I need an experienced cat owner who will be able to give me lots of patience and space while I get to know you and my new home. I need to have my own room at first while i adjust to my new home (a bedroom won’t work for me).I get along well with other cats, and having friendly cat brothers or sisters would help me come out of my shell faster and continue to learn the ropes of being comfortable in my forever home.
