Coach

My name is Cochella, but you can call me Coach. I’m mostly white with a few grey patches, a big, friendly lug, about eight years old.

I lived with someone whom I loved with all my heart. Although they fed me well, maybe a little too well, they abandoned me on the street when they moved away. I was lucky I was rescued before anything bad happened to me.

You know those cats who are shy to strangers and take a while to warm up to people? Well, that’s definitely NOT me. I am friendly to pretty much everyone who’s nice to me from the beginning. I like being pet and I respond with affectionate head butts and a warm purr. I’m the one for you if you want a big, friendly guy to sleep with you or sit on your lap, but you’ll need a pretty big lap.

My foster mom is nice to me, but the best thing for me would be a permanent home with people who will love me as much as I love them. It isn’t known how I get along with other cats or with kids, but it’s clear that I’m an easy-going guy in general who hasn’t shown an iota of aggression since I got rescued.

I have been
– neutered
– vaccinated against rabies and distemper
– dewormed
– treated for fleas
– combo-tested negative for FIV and FeLV.

My adopter will receive my medical records.

There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so the people who’ve helped me can continue to help other cats in need. They’re full and there are a lot of cats who need help, so, to speed it up a bit, my adoption fee has been accordingly reduced to only $75, which goes to my care and that of the other cats they help.

Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time. If you can and will commit to me and provide me a safe, loving home for the rest of my life, then respond to this ad via email. Please include your phone number and say a little about yourself and the home you would provide for me. If this ad is still active, you may conclude I’m still available.
