Hi there, I’m Onyx, a handsome, neutered gentleman cat looking for a new forever home. Life took an unexpected turn when my beloved dad had to move into a care facility, and he can no longer look after me. Because of that, I am now searching for someone new to love with all my heart.
There was a little confusion about my age, but the vet thinks I am younger than originally thought. Kitty Connection is giving me the friendly age range of 6 to 10 years old, which makes me the perfect blend of mellow and playful.
When I arrived at my foster home, I settled in right away. I did not hide at all. On my very first night, I curled up on the couch with the adults and the kids as if I had lived here forever. These days, I spend most of my time lounging on the couch or relaxing in the window, but I always jump up to greet visitors when they arrive. I truly love meeting new people.
I am very lovable, incredibly affectionate, and absolutely a lap cat. Chin scratches and back pets are some of my favorite things, and I enjoy them most of the time. If I have had enough, I will politely let you know. I was a wonderful companion to my dad, and I still have so much love to give. I also get along well with other cats and would be happy in a multi cat home.
