Hi… excuse me? Do you have a lap and a little room in your heart?
I’m about 4 years old, and my life has changed a lot in a short amount of time. My first human passed away, and recently, my second human did too—just a few weeks ago. After that, I was picked up by Animal Control and eventually found my way to Kitty Connection Rescue, and now I’m safe in a foster home where I’m learning what it means to rest again.
I was spayed last week, and the vets discovered I had a uterine infection, but it was caught just in time. I’m healing, decompressing, and slowly figuring out this new chapter of my life.
I might seem a little shy at first, but underneath that, I’m a big love bug. Once I feel safe, I want to be wherever you are. I’m a shadow cat—I’ll sit with you, curl up next to you, and gently meow when I need a little extra love. When I’m happy, I purr, knead, and throw my whole body into my headbutts (it’s kind of my signature move). I have tiny paws and a very big heart.
I’m still learning to feel brave again. I’d do best in a calm home with someone patient who can read my cues while I settle in. I’m scared of dogs, and new things can be overwhelming, but with time and kindness, my sweet side shines through.
All I really want is a safe place to land and a human who will let me be close. If you’re looking for a gentle companion who just wants to love and be loved… I think we might be perfect for each other.
Love, Stormy
