Hello! My name is Ernie, and I’m a very handsome 1-year-old domestic short-haired gray tabby with a big heart and an even bigger love for people. If you’re looking for a sweet, super-friendly companion who wants to truly be part of the household, I might be your perfect match.
I’m incredibly social and love being where my humans are. I adapt quickly to new places (I made myself right at home in my foster home in under 24 hours!) and much prefer having the freedom to explore the whole house rather than staying in a small room. There’s so much to see—and I don’t want to miss any of it!
When playtime rolls around, I enjoy chasing toys and showing off my playful side. When it’s time to relax, I have an adorable routine: I knead and gently suckle on a blanket before settling in for snuggles with you in bed. Soft, comfy spots are my favorite, especially if they come with ear, chin, and neck rubs—those are absolute bliss.
I’ve also met other cats and had positive experiences with them. If you already have a kitty at home, I’d be open to a foster-to-adopt setup to make sure everyone feels comfortable. I may do best with a friendly female cat or a younger, playful male who’d enjoy a buddy to explore and play with.
