Sweet Serena (Courtesy Post)

Meet Serena.
This sweet, petite white-and-orange beauty was rescued after being abandoned, and she’s wasted no time showing her loving personality in her foster home. Although Serena is about three years old, she is not much larger in stature than a kitten and is likely to retain a petite, kittenish appearance for the rest of her life.  Serena’s foster mom says she’s a total sweetheart—playful, social, and always ready to brighten people’s day with her charm.  Whether she’s chasing a toy or rolling over for a belly rub, Serena has a gentle way of showing that she is wired to love. She thrives on attention, playtime, and companionship, and would be happiest in an interactive household where she won’t be left alone for long stretches. We haven’t observed her with other cats, dogs or children; like most cats, she’ll probably do well with kids who know how to be respectful to cats.  Serena is an easy cat who seems suitable for a first-time adopter.

She has been spayed, is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and treated for worms and fleas. Her adopter will receive her full medical records. She’s being fostered in Brighton. Adoptions are facilitated by video meet-and-greets, as well as in-person visits.  There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee, which helps us continue rescuing cats in need. Cats can live up to 20 years, so please consider whether you can commit to providing a safe, loving home for life before adopting. Please email Safercats11@gmail.com with your phone number and a little about yourself and the home you would provide. Doing so helps us match cats with the right adopters.
