Pavarotti (Courtesy Post)

Pavarotti is sleek, panther-like Bombay mix, about a year old, who lost the only home he’d ever known because the person who meant the world to him moved away and left him behind to fend for himself against the elements. True to his breed, Pavarotti is very vocal, which is how he got his name.  He would do well in a home with a lot of enrichment and quality time with humans, one in which he will not be left without human company for long periods of time.  He is an energetic, playful, affectionate boy who loves getting pets, scratches, and attention, and responds by giving enthusiastic purrs and head butts.  We have not observed him with kids or dogs, but we think he would do well with mature kids who know how to interact with cats respectfully.  He is not a fan of sharing the stage with other cats. Pavarotti seems like an easy cat who would be a good choice for a first-time adopter who wants a new best friend.

He has been neutered, is current on vaccinations, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, and treated for worms and fleas. His adopter will receive his full medical records. He’s being fostered in Revere. Adoptions are facilitated by video meet-and-greets as well as in-person visits. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee, which helps us continue rescuing cats in need. Please email Safercats11@gmail.com with your phone number and a little about yourself and the home you would provide. Doing so helps rescuers match cats with the right adopters.
