Crispy: a people-loving FIV+ tuxedo cat available for adoption in Arlington (Greater Boston)

Hi my name is Crispy and I’m a 1 year old DSH male tuxedo! I’m looking for a special family who can help me continue to love humans again. I am a big smart cat with a big personality. I like to be involved in my foster family’s life and be near them all day, especially at meal times. I love to play, although sometimes I forget to keep my claws in so I’d be best in a home without small children. I also have met a number of other cats, and have decided I prefer to live on my own. I’ll be there when you get home, and anytime you open some yogurt. I’ve recently started purring and making biscuits on my foster parents bed. But if you’re late with dinner, I may remind you with a whack. Unfortunately when I was on the streets I contracted FIV, but I’m otherwise healthy and can live a long and happy life. An experienced adopter would be excellent as I want to interact frequently, I’m just trying to learn how to love while feeling safe, like a human 1 year old!

– spayed or neutered
– vaccinated against rabies and distemper
– tested negative for FIV and FeLV
– examined by a vet
