Mario (Courtesy Post)

Mario is a sad little guy, about a year old, who needs a home.  We know that he came from a home that had too many cats for any single rescue to take them all. We suspect that Mario misses his feline buddies, so we think he’d do well with at least one other cat as a playmate.  We have not observed him with dogs or kids; most cats can be successfully introduced to kids and dogs who know how to treat cats respectfully.  Mario is a loving boy who eats Churus out of his foster mom’s hand. He should be adopted into a home where he will not be left unaccompanied for long periods of time.  Mario will bring an abundance of love and warmth to any home.

He has been:
– neutered
– vaccinated as age-appropriate
– tested negative for FeLV and FIV
– treated for worms and fleas

His adopter will receive his medical records. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so we can continue to help cats in need.  In Mario’s case, that adoption fee has been reduced by nearly half.  He’s being fostered in Hyde Park.

Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time. If you can and will commit to her and provide a safe, loving home for life, then respond to RoyCBarrows@gmail.com. Please include your phone number for a faster response and say a little about yourself and the home you would provide for her as we try to match people with the right cats.
