PQ and Jamie are a bonded pair of sisters, about five years old, who need a home. They had their world turned upside down when the person who meant the world to them passed away, so, naturally, it took them a while to adjust to their foster home, but their warm personalities soon emerged, showing them to be affectionate, loving girls. We have not observed them with dogs or kids, but they seem frightened by loud, sudden noises, so they would not do well with the bustle of young children, but we think they’d be okay with older kids who know how to treat cats respectfully. These girls will be devoted companions for life.
They have been:
– spayed
– given rabies and distemper vaccinations
– tested negative for FeLV and FIV
– treated for worms and fleas
– examined and determined to be healthy by a vet
Their adopter will receive their medical records. Because they are a bonded pair, they must be adopted together. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so we can continue to help cats in need. There is a small discount to facilitate getting them adopted together. The total adoption fee for the two of them is $240– a bargain for two girls who will be devoted companions for the rest of their lives. They’re being fostered in Hyde Park.
Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time.
