Hi, I’m Poppy! I’m a sweet, playful girl, about 1 year old. I recently finished raising a litter of kittens (they’ve all found their homes!) and now it’s my time to shine! I’ve got a lovely black-and-white “cow-pattern” coat and I’m ready to moooove into your life (see what I did there? Hehe). I’m confident around other cats and would enjoy a confident feline companion, but I’d also be perfectly happy as a solo cat as long as I have some human company. I might even be OK with a respectful, cat-savvy dog. My foster moms say I’m super gentle, so I’d likely do well in a home with young children. I can be a little hesitant at first around new humans (who isn’t a bit skeptical of strangers?), but I’m quickly won over with my favorite treat of Churu! I’m not quite a lap cat, but I love being near people, especially if I can rub against their slippers, purring softly and being conversational with my cute meows and brrruupps. If you put a plush throw blanket on the couch next to you, I will hop right on and knead it. I really enjoy being brushed, especially around my face but also along my back and my gorgeously thick tail. Oh and I LOVE to play chase with a wand toy, rub against catnip toys and be silly, rolling around on the ground and showing off my belly while receiving pets. I’ve got a playful charm, a gentle heart and the puuurrrfect black-and-white outfit – now I just need the person/people to share it with! I can’t wait to find my forever home!
