Harley (Courtesy Post)

Harley, about 11 months old, is a playful boy who was rescued from a rather appalling hoarder. He and his siblings didn’t get enough human interaction in their earlier life, so it took him a while to get out of his shell in his foster home, but, once he did, he embraced being pet, enjoyed playing with toys, and gradually became more comfortable in his surroundings. Harley would probably do best as the sole cat in a quiet environment without the bustle of young children, and adopted by someone with enough patience to help him adjust to his new home. Harley is an engaging little guy who loves to play. Whoever adopts him will gain a loving, devoted companion for life.

He has
– been neutered
– been vaccinated as age-appropriate
– tested negative for FeLV and FIV.
– been treated for fleas and worms

His adopter will receive his medical records. There is a simple adoption process and an adoption fee so we can continue to help cats in need. In Harley’s case, the adoption fee has been reduced. He’s being fostered in Wellesley.

Cats can live up to 20 years, so give careful thought to the changes that are likely to occur in your life during that time. If you can and will commit to them and provide a safe, loving home for life, then respond to RoyCBarrows@gmail.com. Please include your phone number for a faster response and say a little about yourself and the home you would provide for them as we try to match people with the right cats.
