Iā€™m Goldie, a 2Ā½ā€‘yearā€‘old orange tabby with snowy white patches. Iā€™ve had a tough start in life, so I take a little Prozac to help my me feel steady and secure. Donā€™t worry ā€” Iā€™m very good about taking it when you mix it into my wet food. I eat every bite. But between you and me? Dry food is the true love of my life. šŸŒŸ My Foster Parents Say: Iā€™ve made amazing progress. Iā€™m proud of myself, too! I have excellent litterā€‘box manners. I like routine, calm spaces, and humans who understand that sometimes a girl needs a little room to settle in. šŸŖŸ My Favorite Hobbies: ā€¢ Birdā€‘watching and ā€œhuntingā€ from my window throne ā€¢ Doing short bursts of playtime (Iā€™m an Olympic sprinter, not a marathoner) ā€¢ Rolling onto my back and showing off my fuzzy belly ā—¦ Sometimes you can rub it ā—¦ Sometimes you cannot ā—¦ I will not be providing a schedule ā€¢ Sitting in the same room as you because I like your company ā€¢ Coming when you call me and inspecting everything youā€™re doing (yes, Iā€™m that kind of cat and I need to be in the know!) ā€¢ Curling up on the couch near youā€¦ or in your bedā€¦ or in any cardboard box you leave lying around šŸ” My Dream Home: I would thrive in a quiet, peaceful home with no other pets. Iā€™m a sensitive girl, and I need a patient, experienced cat person who understands that while I am VERY cute and make adorable little meowsā€¦ ā€¦I also need space and time to feel safe. Once I trust you, Iā€™ll follow you around, hang out near you, and maybe even present my extremely precious belly for admiration. ā¤ļø Soā€¦ Want to Love a Cat Whoā€™s Soft, Silly, Sweet, and a Little Bit Special? If youā€™re looking for a companion who will adore being near you, come when called, nap in boxes, watch the world with curiosity, and bloom beautifully with patience and kindnessā€¦ I think that companion might be me.
