Special Foster Homes Needed for Cats Being Medicated!
Kitty Connection is looking for foster homes that can foster cats that need to medicated. A cat would need to be in your care for 14 to 21 days, depending on the prescribed medication. Volunteer Opportunities:
Transporting Animals to the Vet Looking for a responsible/committed person who would like to take cats to and from vet appointments. Surgery Drop off Days are any of the following: Monday/Wed/Friday and pick up on these days is usually 4 PM to 6 PM. Some times they are done earlier. We also need people that can do vet appointments for shots and sick visits. Monday through Saturday. Caring for Cats Responsible people needed to interact with the cats as well as feed and clean/disinfect the areas/crates. Event Coordinator Kitty Connection is looking for a responsible volunteer to coordinate the yearly events of the organization. This individual will contact the various stores that Kitty Connection networks with to schedule adoption events and educational set-ups. The individual will contact the necessary managers of restaurants and establishments to market Kitty Connection and its pets and arrange fundraising events. Must be able to work with the Volunteer Coordinator to coordinate event dates with volunteers needed.
Copying Kitty Connection needs copies of adoption flyers and other materials distributed to volunteers and adopters. If you can help by making/donating copies, please contact us.
Kitty Connection is entrusted with the safety and well-being of various cats and dogs. As a non-profit rescue group, we rely mainly on help from our volunteers to care for and support our animals. Volunteers can help in a variety of ways: adoption events, fundraising events, transporting animals to vet and/or foster homes, cleaning up after the animals, grooming and socialization of animals. We are always looking for dependable people who are willing to fill any of these roles.
