Ariel
My name is Ariel and I'm a 2 year old, long haired female tortie. I was picked up with feral cats during a Trap/Neuter/Return clinic and they realized I was friendly. I'm a bit scared right now but how can you blame me, I just got brought to a new place. I'll be super friendly in no time; I just need to settle in. Could you open your home to a beautiful girl like me?

Aslan
My name is Aslan and I'm a 2 year old, long haired brown and white male tabby. I was picked up with feral cats during a Trap/Neuter/Return clinic and they realized I was friendly. I'm a bit scared right now but how can you blame me, I just got brought to a new place. I'll be super friendly in no time; I just need to settle in. Could you open your home to a sweet guy like me?

Emmett
My name is Emmett and I'm a 2-4 year old, long haired black, white and silver male tabby. I was picked up with feral cats during a Trap/Neuter/Return clinic and they realized I was friendly. I love attention and will give you lots of affection back. When you pet me, I have a big purr because I love it so much. Could you open your home to a sweet guy like me?

Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR)

The first photo is of a cat that would surely have died a terrible death alone if he had not been trapped.  He has an upper respiratory infection.  You can see the mucus in his eyes and nose.  He can barely breath.  He is lucky because someone took him in in order to medicate him and nurse him back to health.  Sadly he'll get fixed and returned outside when he is better, if he makes it.  Many others in his colony could be infected with upper respiratory infection if they do not already have it and be destined to die.

The calico in the next picture is coming down with the upper respiratory infection and is in also in care.

The others are photos of the cats that were trapped and show how terrified they are.   The area is infested and a TNR group has been contacted because there are two very pregnant females that need to be trapped continuously to make a difference.

In the meantime, your donation will allow Kitty Connection to set traps and have cats spayed/neutered as we wait for help.  Your donation of $70 will sponsor a spay.  Any amount will help because with each $70 we can send a cat to get spayed/neutered.

This little one in the 5th photo is about 13-14 weeks old.  He is very scared but workable.  If he was put back out he would surely die as he is coming down with an upper respiratory infection.  You can see crust build-up near his eyes and mucus near his nose.

We can prevent other babies from this type of life and sad death.  Fulton is lucky because he may get a second chance at life.  He is alive because we have been having a mild winter.  If he is put back out, he will surely die because he is developing an upper respiratory infection.  This is how many feral cats die because of illness that goes untreated.  It is not an easy death.  Picture yourself with the flu and no medicine, food or anyone to help you and your breathing worsening.  Something as simple as spaying and neutering can prevent other kittens and cats from this fate.

PLEASE DONATE AND SUPPORT SPAY/NEUTER PROGRAMS.

Trap/Neuter/Return (TNR)

Below are photos showing a feral colony where trapping is being done to help feral cats.  One of the males was trapped and neutered.  During the examination, the vet discovered that the root of his tooth is exposed and he is in great pain and maybe can’t even eat and that two other teeth need to be extracted.  The vet is recommending that his teeth be taken care of before he is returned to his colony.  Kitty Connection is looking for donations to help with his medical.

One of the females trapped has cysts on both ovaries.  The vet said she would have been in a lot of pain and just waiting to die.

There are two more cats in the colony but nothing can be done until another free TNR clinic is available.  That means that funds need to be raised for TNR so that this work can continue.  Every moment counts, because until these cats are trapped and fixed, they are at risk at becoming pregnant and increasing the colony, or exposing kittens to risk and possibly death.

This is the terrible life that these outside cats are subjected to and emphasizes the need for spay/neuter programs to reduce the population of cats living outside.

All three cats that were trapped are under a year old and are living behind local businesses.

PLEASE SUPPORT TRAP/NEUTER/RETURN PROGRAMS.
