Prior to adopting, you must submit a preadoption application. If you rent, you must show landlord permission. If you own, you must show proof of home ownership.
By signing Kitty Connection's Adoption Agreement, you are agreeing to the following:
You will take good care of the animal and protect it from abuse.
You will provide the animal with fresh water, wholesome food, exercise and affection.
You will not declaw a cat.
You will keep the animal indoors.
We recommend you bring a stool sample to vet for testing.
You understand and have been advised that a safety room will help the animal best adjust to his/her new environment.
You understand this animal was previously unwanted or lost, and may have been rescued from a dangerous, unhealthy, or cruel situation. As a result, the animal could have emotional or physical illness. Kitty Connection will disclose all information we have available on animal.
If the animal is found to be in unsatisfatory care, Kitty Connection has the right to retrieve animal to its custody.
If you cannot keep the animal, you agree to return him/her to Kitty Connection, and not to a kill shelter.
Upon adoption, you will receive a coupon for a free vet visit at Revere Pet Clinic. You will receive copies of medical procedures performed while the animal was under Kitty Connection's care.
Adoption donations are tax deductible and vary according to animals type and age. Adoption donations are non-refundable and go towards previous medical care for that animal.
