Shy...Who Me?
Hi, I'm Toby, and you may find this hard to believe, but I was once a very shy kitten. I used to back up into my cage as far as I could because I was really afraid of people. When people would come to an adoption event, they wouldn't even bother looking at me because I didn't romp around in my cage looking all cute and frisky like some of the other kittens. So the woman who was socializing me decided to keep me (let's face it, she didn't really want to part with me!). Now look at me and see what some patience and love can do...I am living the SWEET life and couldn't be happier. My mom thinks I am the funniest thing ever, and she never regrets for one minute that she helped to bring me out of my shell. I don't know why she thinks half the things I do are so hysterical, but she does! And everyone who comes to visit me loves me and thinks I'm the cutest thing ever. So, on behalf of all the other kittens and cats who are shy like I used to be, please don't pass them by...give them a chance 'cause I know you will be really happy that you did.

Top Cat My name is Top Cat and I'm a 2 year old male cat whose owner gave him up because of health reasons. I'm was depressed and came down with a bad kitty cold from the stress but am doing well. I'm scared and confused but I am a love bug when you give me attention. I purr like a motor boat and just love being petted. I'm hoping that I'll have a loving home real soon. I get along with other cats.
Lilly-Lu
My name is Lilly-Lu and I'm a 5 year old, long-haired female cat. I'm a real pretty girl who is very sweet. I enjoy being petted but am real sad right now because my owner passed away and there was no place for me to go. Kitty Connection took me to find someone who will be able to love me again.
Dezi
My name is Dezi and I'm a 4 year old male cat. My owner brought me to a take-all shelter because I just wasn't working out. I just didn't become a lap cat and so I was slated for the lethal dose. Fortunately for me, she told them that I was from Kitty Connection and that saved my life. Kitty Connection said that they would take me back and volunteers went and got me. I'm not a lap cat but I do love to play with the other cats and all the toys. I know that one day someone will accept me for who I am and just be happy that I will be a great playmate for their cat. With proper love and time, I may even be sitting next to you on the couch, but you have to be patient.

Simbca I'm a 3 year old Coon mix who was abandoned. I am very friendly and lovable but do best with women. And, although I am accepting of other cats, I tend to be dominant so I would prefer to the only cat in your life!

Someone took me inside to take care of me but can't keep me because I have FeLV (feline leukemia) and can't be around other cats unless they have it too. Jamaica and Aruba We were abandoned and a man was taking care of us.People didn't know we were friendly so when they trapped us and had us fixed, they released us back outside only to discover that we are friendly cats.We’re scared and need to rebuild our trust in people.We are looking for someone with a big heart to give us a home, together or separately.Jamaica is the calico female and Aruba is the black and white male (I'm hard to see 'cause I'm tucked down low next to Jamaica but I'm here!).We are about 3/4 years old.

I am a very laid-back, 3 to 5 year old male. I spent a long time out on the streets, just trying to survive. Then a very nice person started feeding me, saw how extremely friendly I was and brought me here, so that I can find a home of my own. I spent my first couple weeks here just eating and sleeping, as I recovered from being out on my own. Now I spend my day next to my human soaking up as much love as I can. I enjoy playing with puff balls and toys with catnip in them, gazing out the window at the birds, and being petted. I am a total sweetie and look forward to finding that special person I can call my own.

I was found with my other siblings where a nice lady was taking care of a colony. She saw that we were not feral and called Kitty Connection to get us help and a warm place until we got adopted.I am the shyest of my litter. The ordeal was difficult for me and I'm still rebuilding trust in adults.My siblings are Crazy 8 and Deuce.Maybe you would adopt me with one of them?If you have time to give me some TLC, I'd make a wonderful companion.
Maizie and Max Our names are Maizie, female 7, and Max male 4. Our owner had to move and couldn't take us with her. Maizie is very attached to me Max so we are hoping that we can stay together. I am very friendly and social and Maizie is more laid back and shyer. She loves me and I try to comfort her to make her feel things will be OK. I know everyone wants friendly cats but Maizie would keep me company when you go to work or away and you would have me to do all the playing with. Once Maizie settles in she will do just fine

woman currently providing some shelter for them can continue to be a part of

I am a 5-month-old girl with the biggest, loudest purr. I am still a little shy, but I am moving right along in being socialized and having trust in humans. I am sweet and I do insist that I have my full share of pets. I purr simply because you are in the room with me. I was found eating from the dumpster at Wendy's with my mom and brother, which is how we got our names – Wendy's Crew. I am friendly, but still a tiny bit reserved since I am still getting used to being in a home with people.
