My name is Celeste, and I am a sleek, petite 5-year-old girl. My foster mom thinks I didn’t get much attention in my last home – when I arrived, I was scared of everything, didn’t want to be touched, and didn’t understand what toys and treats were. It’s taken time and patience, but I’m slowly learning to trust again. I’ve discovered that I LOVE treats, and that toys are fun and not scary. I like to be near my foster mom, and will follow her around the house. We’ve been working on petting and touch – I will gladly accept petting with a feather wand, and I’m starting to let my foster mom pet me with her hand (though I do still startle sometimes). I’ve made a lot of progress, but I need a special adopter who will continue to work with me.

– tested negative for FIV and FeLV
– examined by a vet
