Clear the Shelters Month Special: $25.00. My name is Scrapper and I am a 1 year old female. My first adopted owner neglected me. I was returned to KC at 7 months old after KC volunteers discovered that I had been kept in the basement at my adopted home. Because of this, my socialization skills & trust were compromised. I am now rebuilding my trust after being let down by this previous caregiver. I really do want to connect with people and will make a great companion, even though I’m still a little shy right now. I am in a Kitty Connection foster home, slowly regaining my faith in people. My foster mom is awesome! She is patient and kind and is encouraging me to play with toys and I now love being petted. I think I am ready to move to another, yet permanent, loving home where I can continue my progress. I need a pet parent as encouraging and loving as my foster mom. I am spayed and up-to-date on all my shots and am looking to move forward.
