My name is Oldie-But-Goodie. I am an 11 to 12 year old male cat who was left in my apartment when he moved away. It was pretty scary with no one to feed me or make sure I had water. I was lucky when the landlord showed up and found me. I was dehydrated but friendly enough for him to be able to get me in a box and take me to Kitty Connection. I was walking funny because my claws had grown in to the pads of my feet. The vet took care of me but my pads are pretty worn and sore. I am very friendly and lovable. I just enjoy someone petting me. I get along with other cats. I hope it won’t be long before I have a home of my own. I may be an older cat but as my name says I’m still a goodie and will be a great companion to someone who wants a cat on their lap.
The vets found out that I was diabetic. With insulin, I will be all set. Sadly, insulin is very expensive. I need more blood work and a few BG blood work ups weekly to get me on the right dose. I need to get started and hope you will support KC to keep me alive.
