Lucy & Ethel are still waiting for their furever home! We’re two quiet and gentle ladies and five-year-old friends who came from a pretty difficult situation, but in spite of that, we still have so much love to give.

I’m Ethel, the brown tabby. I am so friendly! I love being pet and brushed, and enjoy playing with wand toys, catnip, and running around. I’m healthy and have a lot of energy, but I am overweight and will need an adopter who will help get me to the right weight. My back is shaved because I couldn’t reach it to groom.

My friend Lucy is the orange kitty. She can be scared and spicy when first introduced to a new place and will need some time to settle in. But after that, Lucy loves being pampered and brushed and will show you with her loud purrs. She will also headbutt you to let you know when you’re not petting her enough.

Kevin is a 2-year-old, sweet and loving boy. All he wants are friendly head butts and to be petted. Poor boy has not been feeling well. He has diarrhea and can’t stop vomiting. The vet felt a mass and we’re not sure if this is causing upper Gl problems. We tried to schedule him for an ultrasound but he was just rushed to Mass Vet 4/11. It is possible he will need surgery to remove the mass.

Winsta & Opal are still waiting for their forever

Winsta & Opal are still waiting for their forever home!

Since our last update, our foster parents have learned how great we are with young kids after their 4 & 6 year old nephews came to visit! We had so much fun chasing strings, especially ones with feather toys on the end. They also thought that I, Winsta, wasn’t as into playtime as Opal but after 5-6 days, my personality and playfulness really started to come out! They also learned I love trying to try and burrow my head under you when we’re lounging on the couch and sleeping under puffy comforters when you’re in bed.

As for me, Opal, I’m as playful and tolerant (and clingy :)) as ever. I’m so excited Winsta has settled in so that we can do our morning, afternoon, AND evening zoomies together! We especially love launching ourselves on, off, over, and under our foster parents bed, bonus points when they’re trying to sleep.
