Update: When E-Walk went in for her presurgery recheck, all was well and no surgery was needed. She is gaining weight and this is making a positive result in her recovery. Thank you to all who have donated to her care; what we received will go toward her treatment up to and including her vet exam.
My name is E-Walk and I was rescued off the streets by Kitty Connection. I am 12 weeks old and weighed in at 1.11 lbs. When I was found, I was not in good shape… I had fleas, earmites, internal parasites, was dehydrated, very thin, and close to death. I also had a bone sticking out of my leg which, KC found out, was from a broken leg that healed over. They are not able to do anything for me since I am just so weak and tiny. My surgery is scheduled for 3 weeks from now when the vet feels I should be strong enough to handle the surgery. Kitty Connection is trying to raise money to cover this costly surgery. My leg needs to be re-broken and re-set. (Quite alot of trauma for such a young life to endure.)
