EMERGENCY HELP NEEDED! We got word on a 4 yr old

EMERGENCY HELP NEEDED!

We got word on a 4 yr old diabetic cat that was going to be put down.

We feel confident if he gets insulin every 12 hours, eventually he will not be diabetic.

He is safe for now, but we are looking for a foster home for him to help him out!
He deserves the chance!

Winsta 😇 & Opal 😈: A Tail of Two Kitties—seeking a #fureverhome with you! Winsta’s biscuit bakery and Opal’s gregarious personality are open 24/7.

As they’ve continued to showcase their mannerisms and flair, we’ve learned that Winsta (5F) is quite the provider, dutifully hunting and presenting a bounty of socks, scrunchies, hand towels, and the like. She’s an 11/10 cuddler who LOVES to sleep under the covers and looks at you expectantly if you fail to lift the top sheet up for her in addition to the comforter. She’s also become increasingly playful, though prefers to pace herself with frequent breaks to tend to her scratch pads (unless of course you’re playing fetch with treats, in which case she transforms into Usain Bolt).

Meanwhile, Opal (1.5M), blessed with a stomach of steel and a palate too sophisticated for mainstream treats, prefers gluten-free matzo squares, pepperoni, alllllll the cheese, and, of all things, olives—the brinier, the better 🤔. Naturally, he is neither a fan of portion control nor moderation and sees their enforcement as great injustices, rather than for his own good. While he loves your attention and unwaveringly demands it come sunrise every morning (rain or shine), he has demonstrated he can keep himself occupied for upwards of an hour when presented with a new toy begging to be de-feathered.

Fortunately, despite their growing confidence and interest in exploring all elevations, they still show no interest in house plants 🙏 🙌🪴. They’re also increasingly curious of the shower, but have yet to take the plunge.

she is really coming out of her shell. She is still figuring out what to do with so much space of her own and is working on building her confidence around other people (she’s all over me if I’m around!). She has also become a very spunky playmate for our cat Finn, they chirp at each other every time they see each other!

Buddy's mom:

'He had injections from November 1st to Jan 26th.
84 days and his blood worked look good, so the fip warriors told me I could stop injecting & start observation. Then on Feb 24th he developed splotches on both of his eyes and his diarrhea came back & they recommended I start treatment again immediately.
His blood work from Feb 26th looked fine but the fip warriors & fip global both told me despite the blood work being fine he has most likely relapsed & that lots of cats with fip have unremarkable blood work. After starting treatment again at the end of Feb his eyes did go back to normal and his diarrhea went away. I think his FIV is just making it hard for his body to permanently beat the fip & I think maybe he's just becoming resistant to the meds because he's been on high doses for so long. His diarrhea has been back for a couple of weeks & one of his eyes developed a splotch 4 days ago. He's been doing a great job eating the pills we have never missed a dose.

He's always physically been great and happy and running around.he's not like the other fip cats. it's strange but that splotch on his eye is new it's ocular fip coming back'

My name is Kitty and I am a three year old female. My owner was not in a good situation to be able to continue to take care of me. I am a very friendly lady and I love to play. I need to be with a Cat experienced family, although I love having your attention and will follow you around and jump up just to be close to you, when I’m done being pet, I’m going to let you know. I get along well with other cats, even though I’m not looking to be best buddies with anybody it’s just nice knowing While my foster mom is at work, there are other friends around to entertain me. I’m a very independent girl and not needy of a lot of attention. My foster mom loves to get me to go and play with toys and laser lights because I’m so funny to watch and of course, when I’m done with getting out all of that energy, you certainly don’t want to spend a lot of time petting me because I’m ready to play on the rough side.
